Gone Fishin'

Today we had a date with a beautiful reservoir and two fishing poles.

This is the Frisco Bay Marina.

We rented a fishing boat from the Frisco Bay Marina located on the shores of the scenic Dillon Reservoir in Frisco, Colorado.  It was 9 miles from where we were staying.

There are 25 miles of shoreline surrounded by majestic mountain peaks.

Doug caught one rainbow trout.

The reservoir spans 3,300 acres.
At 9,017 feet in elevation, the boating season is weather dependent.
The wind picked up around noon when we were returning to the marina.

Beetle Kill is taking many of the pine trees in Colorado and other states.
It is very noticeable throughout the area.

This is me fishing, after all I am the photographer.  No selfie on this one.

A beautiful day of trout fishing in majestic Colorado.
