They Say It's Your Birthday, Liz! Puff Pastry Fruit Dessert

We had a little birthday dinner for Liz.
She is twenty something this year.
These are a few of the fun photos of the day.

Aiden loves to bake, and he is assembling his mom's birthday dessert.
I previously baked a sheet of puffed pastry according to package directions.

Aiden "frosted" it with a mixture of Cool Whip nondairy topping
mixed with cream cheese.
Then he placed fresh fruit on top.
He used strawberries, blueberries, and red raspberries.

Aiden is a good reader, and his little sister loves story time.

 So does grandpa.

Happy Birthday, Liz!

Cocoa Art Fair

Beautiful Cocoa Beach.

This is our last full day in Florida.
We took a short drive to the city of Cocoa
for an art fair.

I bought Doug a souvenir from this shop,
a ceramic fish as a reminder of his fishing trip.

Back to Cocoa Beach to browse the famous
Ron Jon Surf Shop.

Back to our resort to enjoy the final hours of our trip along the beach.

We left to go back home on Sunday, the 14th.

Last early morning walk on the beach.

Orlando Airport.

Back home after a relaxing trip to the beach,
Cocoa Beach that is.
Until next time.

Florida Friday- Cocoa

Denise collects sea shells down by the sea shore.
You can find her anytime...

After an early morning walk along the beach,
we headed for the city of Cocoa.
It was a sunny 88 degrees at 10:30 AM.

This is an interesting downtown shopping district
with many artists and
unique shops.

We meandered up and down the streets into a variety of shops.

We headed back to Cocoa Beach from a morning of sightseeing at Cocoa.

 Time for lunch.
This place was recommended for authentic
Cuban cuisine.

It was great!

Back to the beach.

The end of another beautiful cay in Cocoa Beach.
