This is another cooking experience with my two grandsons, Duncan and Aiden.
Cookies are always a hit with kids, and these have a great taste and can be altered to individual tastes. These cookies are so easy, so delicious, and so kid-friendly that you will love making them as much as you do eating them. There are as many variations as you can imagine.
Ingredients:
- 1 box any flavor cake mix (we used Dark Chocolate Fudge Duncan Hines)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Grandpa making Duncan his own tackle box for fishing.
This is a cool lure.
Gather cake mix, eggs, and oil.
Open the cake mix.
Pour into mixing bowl.
Sometimes Mom needs to help.
Camden is learning how to make cookies also.
Crack 2 eggs into bowl.
Add to cake mix.
Carefully measure 1/2 cup oil.
Add to mixing bowl.
Follow the directions to make sure you did not forget anything.
Get the mixer ready.
Mix everything together.
Mix until blended. It will look like this. At this point you can add any other ingredients such as chocolate chips, nuts, coconut. Let your imagination run wild.
Spoon onto baking sheet.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.
Ready for the oven.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Delicious.
Enjoy!
Another beautiful summer day.
Thank you boys for a great day.
Did you have a double yolk egg? That's good luck isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat was on the chocolate layer cake, and yes, they are a sign of good luck and prosperity.
