English Muffin Pizzas-Cooking with Daniel & David

When I asked my cooking friends, Daniel and David,  what recipe they wanted to make, their reply was Pizza!  English muffin pizzas are great for kids to make and very easy.  They do not require much time to make (about 15 minutes including baking time) or too many ingredients.  This recipe is great to make together with your kids for memorable family times.  Adult supervision and participation is needed for your child's safety.

English Muffin Pizza Ingredients:
  • English muffins (whole wheat)
  • Pizza sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Favorite toppings (pepperoni, sausage, green peppers)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Shopping is fun!

Getting ingredients for the pizza.

Let's go to the check out.

Wash hands after shopping
and before food preparation.

Gather the ingredients.
English muffins, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni,
sausage, pizza sauce and green bell pepper.

Use a fork to split open the English muffin.
Poke through the side and work your way around
until you can open it.

Spoon the pizza sauce onto the top of each slice.

Dice any fresh vegetables you are using
into small, even pieces.

We used precooked sausage links.
Cut them into small pieces.

Sprinkle muffins with the shredded cheese.
It will melt and spread out to the sides.

Top with the pepperoni slices.
We used  mini pepperoni.

Continue with the second muffin, adding the sausage
and any toppings you like.

This is what they look like before they are cooked.

Have Mom or an adult place the pan
into the oven.  Bake at 375 degrees for
8-10 minutes.

The cheese will be melted and
browned on the edges.

Enjoy!
