Cooking with Ceci- Minnie Mouse Cookies

This is my first official blog with my granddaughter.
She just turned 2.
These cookies are perfect for a
 Minnie Mouse Birthday Party.

Cooking with Ceci

Ceci had a Minnie Mouse themed birthday party.
So, these Minnie Mouse cookies are the perfect pre-party cooking activity.

These mini Oreo cookies pass the taste test.

This is our sketch of the Minnie Mouse cookie.
You take 1 regular size Oreo cookie, and dip it in pink frosting.
And add two Mini Oreo cookies for the ears.
Then add white chocolate chips for the dots.
We purchased the bows to add to the top of the cookies.

Although she is just two years old, Ceci can count
and practices all the time.

I warmed the pink frosting slightly.
Then we dipped the regular sized Oreo cookie into the softened frosting.

Ceci said, "Dip, Dip, Dip."

Place the frosted cookies on parchment paper to harden.

While the frosting is soft, place white chocolate chips onto the pink frosting.

Melt a few semi sweet chocolate chips in a dish.
Microwave them a few seconds until just softened.
Dip the edge of the Minnie Oreo into the chocolate.

Then place the ears on top of the Oreo.
Let sit until it hardens.

Let the cookies dry.
