Day 3-Eureka Springs

We went on a trek around the
Eureka Springs
area in Arkansas.
We had several items on our itinerary.
The first order of business or should I say pleasure was to scout around the shops in the city.

This art was in the parking lot...

Eureka Springs, Arkansas has a flair like no other town.
Notice Humpty Dumpty on the wall!

In fact, the National Trust for Historic Preservation named Eureka Springs as one of its "Dozen Distinctive Destinations." The streets of this North Arkansas town are lined with extraordinary Victorian homes hugging cliffsides, and its entire downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places. Spring Street, one of the main thoroughfares, was named one of America's 10 Best Streets for 2010 by the American Planning Association. In 2014, Eureka Springs was named as having one of America's Best Main Streets by Yahoo Travel.

I need to make these!
They are super sized.

I found a recipe from the Pioneer Woman for S'mores.
I think to make them look like the above photo, I would use the super size marshmallows
you can find in the summer at department stores and use the marshmallow creme
for glue to hold the marshmallows in place,
so you can get the height for these bars.
I also found stackable marshmallows, which would work great.
You could stack them, and get the bars as high as you wanted.

I think I would stack at 2-3 of these!

Ingredients
16 whole Graham Cracker Squares (two Single Rectangular Pieces Still Stuck Together)
Marshmallow Creme and StackerMallows or Jumbo Marshmallows
1 whole Package Chocolate Melting Chocolate
Chopped Nuts, Sprinkles, melted white chocolate for drizzle
Preparation Instructions
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of marshmallow cream onto 8 crackers.
Then, stack 2-3 marshmallows onto each of 8 crackers and use marshmallow creme for the glue between each marshmallow until you get the desired height.
Top with the other 8 crackers, pressing gently. Immediately put the sandwiches in the freezer---
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a glass bowl, then set aside to cool, stirring occasionally to keep the chocolate melted. When the chocolate is room temperature, remove the sandwiches from the freezer. One by one, dip the sandwiches in chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Work quickly, then add on whatever sprinkles you'd like to use or drizzle melted white chocolate on top.
Immediately put the sandwiches back into the freezer to set the chocolate.
Freeze for at least 30 minutes, then you can store the s'mores at room temperature or in the fridge until you're ready to serve!

Perfect for the newly weds.

Carrie Nation!
Standing at nearly 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds
Carrie Amelia Moore Nation was an American woman who was a radical member of the temperance
movement, which opposed alcohol before the advent of Prohibition. She is particularly noteworthy for attacking alcohol-serving establishments with a hatchet. (Wikipedia)

Eureka Springs, Arkansas has block after block of one-of-a-kind shops,
boutiques, fine art galleries, craft emporiums, spas, museums and restaurants.
We explored many of them along the tiered streets.

 My grandsons would love this!

This is one of my lifetime scriptures!
Love it!

Now on to The Passion Play!
