Cam came to visit, so we decided to make a quick, simple
Apple Galette.
Apple Galette.
Yes, it tasted as good as it looks.
Peel and slice 3 large apples.
Squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the apples to keep them from
turning brown, about 2 tablespoons.
We mixed 1/4 cup white sugar,
1/4 cup brown sugar,
3 Tbsp. flour,
2 tsps. cinnamon,
and a pinch of salt.
Combine in a mixing bowl.
Add to apples and stir to combine.
Spoon onto a refrigerator pie crust.
Fold the edges of the pie crust over the filling.
Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
