Cruising Like A Norwegian- Day 1

This is day 1 of my first cruise.

I am very excited to start my adventure!

 Doug and I had an early morning flight from Minneapolis to Chicago.

 Landing at Midway Airport in Chicago.

 We are getting ready to fly to New Orleans from Chicago,
 but first we had a "minor" detail of de-icing the wings.

 The weather is becoming decidedly warmer with clear skies as we get closer
to New Orleans.

 We flew into Louis Armstrong Airport at New Orleans.

 From the airport we took a shuttle to our Norwegian Dawn Cruise Ship!

 All aboard!

Poolside at the Oasis as we set sail from New Orleans.

We began with a Sail Away BBQ party.

 Here we are leaving the Port of New Orleans and sailing down the Mississippi.

We set sail in the late afternoon around 4:00 PM.

Tonight at the Stardust we were entertained with an aerial performance by
Aurelie and a magic show featuring David DaVinci.
